GREEN-BUILDING PROGRAMS—Once completed

One mission of the Friends Center is be a show-case for “green” construction materials, systems and techniques. (Traditional construction methods in the developed world are one of the largest sources of pollution and unsustainable uses of resources on the planet.) When construction is completed, we will have regularly scheduled programs for regional architects, engineers, developers and contractors with the goal of inspiring the construction industry to try new, sustainably produced materials and systems, by showing their advantages and how they’re used.

Events

The Friends Center is a gathering place for people in the community to share ideas and personalities, and to socialize, organize and work for transformation.
